ST Math End of Year Celebration!
Our students excelled this year using ST Math! Students solved problems both visually and symbolically to solve mathematical problems with our favorite penguin, JiJi! 🐧 We had over 153 students complete the entire ST Math program and continued to challenge themselves with logic and higher-order thinking puzzles! As a school, we received a very special poster from ST Math commemorating our hard work, dedication, and perseverance to complete 89 percent of the program. We are very proud of the growth our students showed this year!

Thank you from Ms. Carbone's Class!

We said goodbye to our favorite volunteer today. Mrs. Names is a retired Reading Specialist and she joined us weekly all year to play phonics games with the students! We will miss her so much!

During the week of June 5th through the 9th, second graders in Mrs. Cullum and Miss. Fox's classes participated in a Watermelon Week. They have been doing watermelon themed math and ELA activities to go along with the theme. The excitement of the week was a STEM experiment where they created and set off watermelon volcanoes, with the help of Professor One in a Melon (Mrs. McNally). Students were then able to use the leftover watermelon pulp for a taste test, and enjoy a healthy frozen treat!
