Indigenous Peoples Month
All month long, KCCS celebrates Indigenous People! This week, all second grade classrooms took a walking field trip to Quashnet and met Darius Coombs. He taught second graders about the 13 Moons display which was built by Mashpee Wampanoag tribal members. Darius Coombs and Principal O'Brien were instrumental in this incredible museum quality replica of the weetu and the 13 Moons courtyard display.








Recess!
With the weather getting colder, please make sure students come to school prepared for outdoor recess. KCCS goes outside as much as possible unless, the weather doesn't allow it.
