The KCC ABC Countdown to Summer!
Check out this years countdown and make sure to participate in as many days as possible!

The Art Bus at KCC!
The Art Bus is coming to KCC next week! Students PreK-2nd grade will visit the bus during art class for the entire week. This old school bus was converted into a portable maker space for children of all ages to create in. Artists will learn about patterns in nature then will make a mandala out of natural materials. Thank you to the Cotuit Center for the Arts for making this happen!

Save the Date!

STEM experiences funded by KCC's PTO!
First grade students during their STEM class next week will be listening to a presentation called "The Green Whale" by the Whale and Dolphin Conservation. This program has been generously funded by our PTO! Below is some information about the program offered to our first grade students: Whales play an amazing role in an ecosystem that keeps every creature on Earth alive, including you! By providing important nutrients to phytoplankton, whales play a vital role in helping to provide over half the oxygen you breathe. During this program, students will discover the fascinating wonders of plankton while observing them through a microscope, learn how whales sustain life on earth and fight climate change and explore the relationship between whales and plankton through the food web. We are looking forward to this awesome opportunity! Thank you PTO!

Mashpee Marathon Program!
We are so excited to complete our final mile for the Mashpee Marathon program! If your Second grader participated in the program this year, please join us on May 18th at 2:45 to complete our last mile (May 19 - rain date). Meet us at the lower field to walk, jog, or cheer us on. We are so proud of the effort and perseverance these students have put in throughout the year. We hope you can join us to celebrate their success!

On your mark... Get set... Go!

Andrew from the Cape Cod Challenger Club donated a race bib for every student who completes Ms. Daly's Marathon Program at KCC. The bib is for the 1 Mile Challenger Race that kicks off the full 5K race. The 1 Mile Race starts at 9:00 AM on Saturday June 24th and the 5K shortly after. Before the end of the school year, a bib will go in backpacks. The 1 Mile Challenger Race starting line is located at 418 Bumps River Rd, Osterville, MA .  We hope to see you there!
