KCC is closed on Monday, October 9th, in recognition of Indigenous Peoples Day

Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent Teacher conferences are important times to make sure you are aware of your child's progress at school. Please click the link or use the QR code to sign up for a time and date with your child's teacher. During conferences, childcare is not provided at the school. Dates are 10/19 and 10/24.  https://www.myconferencetime.com/mashpee

K.C. Coombs School Council
What is a school council? A school council is a representative, school building-based committee composed of the principal, parents, teachers, community members and, at the secondary level, students, required to be established by each school pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 71, Section 59C.

The goal of the council is to assist the principal with review of school/district policies and review new school initiatives with a focus on improved outcomes for students.   Click here to fill out this form if interested in being a member. More information in the link.

Community Helpers!
Officer Katie, our Mashpee SRO, came to visit our prekindergarten classes! This month classes are learning about community helpers like our wonderful Mashpee police officers.

Flashlight Reading with
Ms. McMorrow!
Last week, Ms. McMorrow's class filled their Falcon Nest with eggs which earned them a PJ day and reading with flashlights! Students earn eggs by following the Falcon 5! Talk to your children about the Falcon 5 and how it helps them grow at school.

Parent Pick Up/Drop Off
Thank you for your continued support in making parent drop off and pickup safe for children and staff. As you know, many vehicles come to drop off and pick up children. If you happen to arrive at school early and are waiting for an extended period of time, we ask you turn your car off instead of idle engines.

Yoga Club with Ms. Burd!
This after school club aims to offer students a variety of fun and engaging ways to practice yoga and teach breathing and mindfulness practices which then can be used within a classroom setting.  Students will participate in activities such as yoga games and poses, Zentangle, breathing and playing with a parachute and mindfulness adventure stories.
