It’s officially FUNDRAISING WEEK!! Wednesday May 1st kicked off our Booster Dance-Off and we are READY! If you haven’t already done so, please register your kiddos at MYBOOSTER.COM . You can do this by searching for the school by name. Students get a FREE prize just for being registered. On the site, families can access easy-to-use links and content to connect students with sponsors by sharing their fundraising link on Facebook, through email, or even text. Sponsors can enter and pay for those donations online through the students’ fundraising link! Once registered, you can share your child’s link with anyone and everyone! We can do this!!
Last call for “Paint with the PTO” event at Color Me Mine! Join us tonight from 7:00pm-9:00pm as we paint, chat, and snack! Cost per person is based on which pottery piece you decide to paint. We can’t wait to share this time with you and have fun getting to know everyone!
Reminder about the final PTO meeting for this school year will take place on Tuesday May 14th at 5:30pm in the cafeteria. This is an Election Meeting. While current members of the board are staying on in some capacity, all positions are open! We would love to have more family members join us at the table, whether as a fellow board member or just as an attendee.

Coast Guard Visits KCCS!
This week second grade students participated in a sound vibration activity with members of the Coast Guard. Students learned about the various ways the Coast Guard communicates, watched a video about sound waves and how they travel, and practiced communicating using a paper cup and string. We are so grateful for our Coast Guard community, who takes time out of their busy days to visit and teach our second grade students!
