Giving Tree!

The Giving Tree was a huge hit! Thank you to all of the staff volunteers and PTO members for organizing and putting together this fantastic event! This past Friday KCC held its’ annual Giving Tree event. The school community decorated cookies, enjoyed entertainment, and listened to Principal Mary Kate O’Brien as she read aloud The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. The holidays are a wonderful time to show support to those in our community who need it most, and the amazing thing about this event is that the donations received are able to help families throughout the year. The KCC PTO is honored to work alongside the school counselors to bring our community closer together through the gift of giving. Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed the event and donated, and thank you as well to those who volunteered their time to make this event a continued success. We are Mashpee!

1st Grade Holiday Concert!

This week first graders performed for the entire school and families on Wednesday! Congratulations Ms. Crehan and first graders for putting on an amazing holiday concert!

Whale and Dolphin Conservation

This week all second grade students enjoyed a presentation by the Whale and Dolphin Conservation based out of Plymouth. Students learned about Echo, a life size bottlenose dolphin and the important role dolphins (and whales) play in our ecosystem. Using Echo as their guide, students assembled a bottlenose dolphin puzzle, learned about and labeled some important dolphin parts, and played an echolocation game. Thank you WDC for your work protecting our precious marine mammals!

Mashpee Holiday Parade!

Principal O'Brien and Assistant Principal Prehna were at the Mashpee PD pop up coffee tent at the Mashpee Holiday Parade! We saw so many families and it was great to help out the Mashpee Police Department!
