Monday, June 3rd is an Early Release Day
Construction Starts Monday, June 3rd
KCCS starts it's long awaited construction project to retrofit the building with AC. All construction workers have been CORI checked and will be entering/exiting the building away from all students. During construction, all work will occur away from students and parts of the building will be off limits to students and staff. Construction will occur throughout the summer. Playgrounds will not be available for use over the summer.
No Place for Hate!
This year Mashpee Public Schools took on the challenge of becoming a No Place for Hate school. Thanks to our incredible staff and hard work from students, KCCS is now recognized as a No Place for Hate school!
Kite Day!
First Grade’s Annual Kite Day will be held on Tuesday, June 4th. It is an afternoon of friendship and flying kites! Kite Day will start at 1:00 and end at 2:30. Each child is encouraged to bring a snack and drink from home to enjoy on the field and a towel to sit on. First grade families joining us may wish to bring chairs and/or blankets as well. The kites have been supplied by the PTO. Please make sure to update Pick up Patrol if you're dismissing your child after Kite Day.
*** When you arrive at school, please go to the table set up in the front of the building to sign in and receive a visitors badge. If you have any questions, please email your child’s homeroom teacher. ***

This week students participated in the annual field day and students loved this fun filled day! Thank you to Ms. Daly, specialists, and student volunteers from the Quashnet School!

PickUp Patrol Reminder
To guarantee your child's safety and streamline the dismissal process, please update PickUp Patrol for ALL early dismissals, or changes to their default dismissal plan. If you can believe it, in May we have had 928 changes in PickUp Patrol! Lately we have seen an increase of last minute dismissals without communication to the office or teachers. If you need help with PickUp Patrol please email kccattendance@mpspk12.org.
The Walk of Honor
Today, Mashpee's youngest Falcons were visited by it's oldest, MMHS Seniors. Congratulations to the class of 2024 and thank you for being role models to younger generations.
