Parent/Teacher Conferences
At KCCS, students are building their skills to become life long learners. Parent/Teacher conferences are an important time of year. To schedule your time to meet with your child's teacher, please click here. This will allow you to schedule time to discuss your child's current performance and expected growth. These conferences are for parents only.

Morning Student Drop Off
Please make sure your child is secure in a seat when approaching the building. Never have students unbuckle early or have students stand on seats to be out of sunroofs. This is extremely dangerous. When approaching KCCS, please follow all directions from staff members. The safety of children and staff is crucial during this busy time.

News from the PTO!

We had our first virtual meeting this week and it went great! Thank you to our teachers Jenn Amento and Betsy Caldwell for joining us. We so appreciate any and all attendance. During this meeting we met briefly with Mr. Glen Koocher from the Massachusetts Association of School Committees to provide our input on what we feel our community needs from the next permanent superintendent. We spent the rest of the meeting planning and discussing upcoming events. First up is the Scholastic Book Fair, which will be kicking off on Wednesday November 6th with Book BINGO and closing out with our “Books and Bites” breakfast event on Saturday November 16th. This year’s theme is “Happy Camper”, and we can’t wait for everyone to explore all of the amazing books they can fill their literacy tents with.
Volunteer Request: If you are interested in volunteering your time to the Book Fair, we are still in need of volunteers. We could use help with decorations, working the registers, assisting students while they shop, set-up and break-down, and during our two family events. Please reach out to our volunteer coordinators, Rachel and Jackie, at kccptovolunteer@gmail.com
Lastly, but very importantly, October is National Principals Month! Let’s make sure we show our thanks and appreciation to MaryKate O’Brien and Brian Prehna for all they do! The PTO is so grateful to have the support of these two, and we love working with them. Our efforts and our successes are only as great as the administration that backs us, and ours is pretty incredible.
